Because of the media interest, let me report as follows:
The Kozhlje location is one of the locations that we have discussed in the working group meetings several times, along with Batajnica, Kozhareva and other locations for which we have constantly sought to start researching/evaluating and then work.
This location has started to be assessed since last year, but was then pushed by the Serb side. Only after constant, international and international pressure has Serbia begun the evaluation process. It should be noted that this is happening after a fire that has engulfed the area for nearly two months.
A team consisting of Mr. Race check, Mr. Gar. Ditor Haliti and Mr. Valon Hyseni. Currently on the ground are I present too CRC and EULEX, along with the Serbian side. Today, appreciation is being accomplished and will then be seen as an opportunity to start the work.
Unfortunately, this location has been used as garbage dumps since 1999. To reach the suspected area, flight is required at a depth of over 15m. What is of particular importance is not allowing Serbia to turn Kozhlje into an endless process, as it did for Kizevac and Rudnica, dragging on the works for years and providing no correct coordinates.
At the same time, we call on Serbia to start working in other locations for which there are pledges, such as Batajnica and 16 other locations mentioned in their report.
Every development we find, we'll inform you in time.
