Local elections, police discuss operational plan

“This meeting was attended by the deputy director of the KK, department directors, divisions, regional directors and police station commanders, who were announced in terms of schedules, assessments and police commitments in providing security and management of the election process, as a very important process for the country. ”
They have discussed the plan for the October 12th elections. Hoxha has said it is primary to maintain order, calm and public security in the country before, during and after the election process.
“Director Hoxha, during this meeting, also discussed the overall security situation, the analysis of periodic work, performance and discipline at work, and in particular the plan for local elections, where he argued that establishing a safe and secure climate for all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, as well as maintaining order, calm and public safety in the country before, during and after the election process, is a priority for the Kosovo Police. ”
The operating plan will include four phases.
“Operational Planning has preceded implementation and implementation of the police operation in four phases, as is initiated by the pre-election or value preparation period, then commitment to providing security during the pre-election campaign, engagement and security in the key phase of the day of elections as the day (Z) as well as the period following elections that envisions transportation under PK's lead and security until the end of the process. ”
For elections, police will engage a sufficient number of police officials of various profiles.
Kosovo's “Police for local elections will engage a sufficient number of police officials of different profiles, belonging to different units within the Kosovo Police, and has taken additional measures by appointing police co-ordinators with the CEC and other institutions engaged in the process. ”
“At the same time, each of those present was discussed also about the initiative and prosecution of every criminal act against the right of voting and the enterprise of all procedural measures against anyone who conflicts with the country's laws regulating/sancitability to free and democratic elections, in co-ordination and close co-operation with the State Prosecutor according to the action plans and preliminary agreements based on the law. Kosovo police, at the helm of its management, remain committed to accomplishing its legal duties and responsibilities professionally, transparent and impartially confronting citizens and the country. ”
