This report stressed that the period of voting through mail has started for 43,933 Kosovo citizens registered to vote from abroad. So far, about 10,000 ballot packages have already been sent out of Kosovo, while another 5,000 have been completed and are expected to be sent during the day.
One of the main points of the meeting was to confirm and publish the mailing addresses placed in Kosovo's embassies and diplomatic missions in several states, where citizens registered for voting via mail can send their ballot papers.
According to the CEC report, mailboxes are functional in these countries: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Czechia, Denmark, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Hungary, Italy, Canada, Kosovo, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, the United Kingdom, Norway, the United States, Albania, Slovenia, Sweden, Turkey and Switzerland.
