The government reports that in a conversation with them, Kurti first expressed gratitude for the work and dedication of the APEN to create platforms that bring Albanian professionals closer, as well as for the opportunity to join in this meeting.
We are gathered here today not only as professionals, but as proud Albanians, united by a common heritage and commitment to build bridges between our country and our community in the diaspora”, Prime Minister Kurti said.
According to the announcement, Kurti said our community in the United States has always been a source of pride for their firm commitment and contributions to both the United States and our homeland.
“In business, technology, justice, medicine, academy or art, you move ahead of a tradition of perfection and sustainability that determines who we are as a people. Your success as a professional and commitment to the Albanian-American community here is proof that our diaspora is not just a community abroad, but a driving force for innovation, growth and progress on both sides of the Atlantic”, Kurti said.
The government's vision of diaspora engagement was also a topic of discussion. In this case, Kurti stressed that the establishment of serious projects based on young professionals aimed at connecting knowledge, resources and networks to this mandate.
Between the Civil Diplomacy Stock Exchange, we are bringing young professionals from diaspora to our public sector, allowing you to contribute with your expertise and shape Kosovo's future, not only through family ties, but also through professional and civic engagement. We want to show that Kosovo today is a successful, democratic, developed republic in Europe, where you can contribute and benefit”, he stressed.
The report says that until he announced participants even with the Diaspora Investment Window as part of the Kosovar Fund for Cremary Guarantee, he said these are not only programmes, but also bridges between generations, professions and between the country and the United States of America.
I believe we can accomplish much by working side by side with our diaspora, with the goal of a unified community that exceeds each of us as individuals. I think what we need to do most as Albanians everywhere is to invest in each other's successes and the success of future generations”, Kurti said, stressing that our community's progress in New York and in the United States is deeply related to the future of our homeland.
APEN is a network founded in 2007 by young Albanian-Americans in New York, aimed at bringing together Albanian professionals there and advancing our community to the United States.
