The German Embassy has announced the farewell meeting Ambassador Jorn Rohde had with incumbent Prime Minister Albin Kurti in the prime minister.
On his farewell occasion, Ambassador Jörn Rohde was received by incumbent Prime Minister Albin Kurti. He thanked him for his five years of dedicated service”, the embassy said.
The prime minister's office had announced the first two days of this meeting.
The prime minister stressed that Germany remains the central partner of the Republic of Kosovo in economic co-operation and on our path towards European integration. He further singled out close cooperation in areas such as energy, education, and environmental protection. During the conversation, the topic of security and co-operation with KFOR was also cited, as well as visa liberalisation for citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, as an achievement marked during Ambassador Rohde's mandate and Prime Minister Kurti. Prime Minister Kurti congratulated Ambassador Rohde on health and luck in his life”, the announcement said.
Rohde went to Kurt's office after the EU letter that there should be no more meetings at Kurti's office until the new government is elected./Periscopi/
