Krasniqi's meeting, Abdjik and Haradinaj with Prattipat at the Embassy, what do they say from the parties that participated?

The three former opposition parties, P The DK, LDK and AAK appear reserved to comment on the contents of the joint meeting of Memli Krasniqi, Lumir Abdjik and Ramush Haradinaj at the US Embassy in Pristina, following the US decision to suspend strategic dialogue with Kosovo. Officials from these parties say they are in regular contact with Americans and charge with jobs at the US Embassy in Kosovo, Annu Prattipati.
According to them, Americans want another strategic partner in Kosovo, but when asked whether there has been any demands or incentives for these parties to co-ordinate for forming a future ruling coalition if the Vetevendosje Movement fails to create a new parliamentary majority, they say such a moment has not yet arrived.
The United States of America on 12 September has made a decision to suspend strategic dialogue with Kosovo, as it has been said after raising concerns about the actions of Kosovo's incumbent government.
The same day, American diplomat in Kosovo Prattipati hosted PDK chairman Memli Krasniqi, LDK Chairman Lumir Abdijxhiku and AAK Chairman Ramush Haradinaj at the meeting.
Despite the decision to suspend strategic dialogue, however, the US Embassy in Pristina in a response to Kosovas on Monday has stressed that they will continue to be a close friend of the people of Kosovo.
PDK Secretary General Vlora Citaku tells Kosovo that they are in contact and continued conversation with the US Embassy, but also with senior US representatives in Washington.
She accuses Kurt of breaking up reports with the US, until she emphasises that the same one does not have the numbers to form the next government after the February 9th parliamentary elections.
Kosovo currently has no new institutions, until the Constitutional Court has imposed temporary measures until September 30th in connection with the constitution.
MPs were denied any decision on the Parliament, as well as suspended deadlines regarding the formation of the new government following the Serbian List complaint, where the constitutional and ninth legislature sessions were closed without being elected deputy chairman by the Serb community.
Citaku says that it is still early for discussions on whether former opposition parties can form the government in case LV is unable to do so, but adds to the need for the former opposition to join and unify to remove Kosovo, as she claims, from the pool where Kurti has sunk.
“I can confirm only that the Democratic Party of Kosovo is in contact and in continued co-operation with the US Embassy in Pristina, but also with other senior US representatives in Washington... we are not yet at such a moment. We've known since the first day that Mr. Kurti doesn't have the parliamentary majority, that's why we've insisted since February 10th that the former opposition join and unify. This is not an angry unification, but simply to remove Kosovo from the pool, in which Mr. Kurti” is sinking, she points out.
Even LDK deputy Krenar Xhaferi tells Kosovo that meetings with American officials are regular for them, while stressing that the US is looking for another strategic partner in Kosovo.
According to him, incumbent Prime Minister Albin Kurti is undermining relations and alliances with the US.
The Vetevendosje movement has emerged first with 42 percent in the February 9th elections, but AAK MP Lahi Brahimaj says they are ready for co-governance with PDK and LDK without any condition, alone, as noted, to oust Albin Kurtin from power.
He says allies, particularly the United States, as well as EU countries, are willing to listen to former opposition parties get thoughts about whether they are on the same line as Kurti.
The US reaction to suspending strategic dialogue with Kosovo came at a time when Kurti has addressed a series of criticisms to the Constitutional Court regarding the constitutional constitution of the Kosovo Assembly, as well as the government in office has closed several parallel Serb structures in Kosovo, about which the European Union has reacted Saturday.
The incumbent Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, has remained silent since Friday last week when the US decision was made, but his spokesman, Kryeziu, has said that the Republic of Kosovo is the most serious partner of the United States for stability, security and peace in the region, until it has stressed that all acts of government in office are in line with the country's law and Constitution.
Strategic dialogue is a process that the US State Department in most cases develops with different countries of the world aimed at advancing bilateral relations.
This process includes high-level discussions between the two countries that are held either in Washington or in the current country, on a wide range of topics such as defence, security, environment, energy, economic co-operation. /Kosovapress
