In this prestigious report, Kosovo has reached 94 points from 100 in the Law and Order Index, positioning third at a global level, after Tajikistan (97 points) and Singapore (95 points). That assessment puts Kosovo ahead of the states known for the high level of security, such as Iceland, Norway, Austria and Switzerland.
Another significant indication is that 89% of Kosovo citizens say they feel safe walking only at night in areas where they live one of the highest rates in the world and Europe.
Kosovo police emphasise that these positive results are the product of continued commitment to ensuring order and public security, close co-operation with citizens and other security institutions, as well as continued support from international strategic partners.
