With 34 active partnerships and over 30 Albanian organisations participating in the programme, the country is making a significant contribution to areas such as green transition, territorial innovation and sustainable management of natural resources.
The “for Albania still remains two-captive groups to be opened soon. Starting next year we'll be able to close some of them. Albania is doing very well with the required reforms, so I am confident that it can complete negotiations by the end of 2027. Within the mandate of this European Commission, in 2029 Albania could be fully recognised in the EU”, Martha Kos said.
