During this week, the first three defence witnesses have given their testimony where emphasis has been placed on Thaci's political role during the war and his lack of command authority in the KLA.
International Witnesses, including prominent diplomatic and legal figures, have offered a mirror different from that of the prosecution.
Regarding this, “Front Online” has spoken former KLA war general Nuredin Lushtaku.
Lushtaku has declared that the whole world is seeing injustice in The Hague.
According to him, the Court is completely political and aimed at degrading former leaders.
We and the whole world are seeing this court is unfair and it's dealing with worthless things and it's political to degrad people there”, Lushtaku has declared.
He hopes justice will prevail.
“Fathers will influence The Hague process and ease the issue as much as possible and hope that justice will prevail”, he says of Front Online.
Nuredin Lushtaku, has been promoted in connection with the silence of Kosovo institutions towards the court process in The Hague against former KLA leaders.
He says institutions have real responsibilities and opportunities to do more.
Lushtaku has said that if the institutions are silent, there is no one to address the issue.
“The institutional issue is not good that institutions should do the most for former leaders that they have the opportunity because citizens, besides protests about what's going on there, have no other option, but institutions should be on alert. If these are silent, then who should be involved in this matter”, Lushtak said. /Periscope/
