KFOR Commander Enrico Bardonini has met today with Albanian Defence Minister Pirro Veng and Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General Arben Kingi at the Defence Ministry in Tirana.
According to the announcement issued by KFOR, discussions focused on KFOR's continued commitment to the preservation of security and stability in Kosovo and the region, such as the importance of the EU-brokered dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia.
General Bardonini stressed that KFOR remains committed to ensuring a safe and sustainable environment for all communities. He expressed his appreciation for the professionalism and dedication of the Albanian contingent in KFOR, stressing their precious contribution to this mission and to promoting peace and stability in the Western Balkans.
