After the briefing, Commander Bardoni visited an exhibition of weapons and equipment organised by the Scottish Guard, deployed in Kosovo as part of the NATO Reserve for training purposes. The exhibition, reportedly in the report, offered a mirror on the entities' available tools, systems and skills.
“Ending his visit, Major General Bardoni praised all members for their professionalism, dedication and competence, underlining the importance of their contribution to the KFOR mission to preserve a safe and secure environment for all communities in Kosovo”, the statement said.
KFOR stresses that it continues to implement its mandate to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and freedom of movement at any time and impartially. KFOR reiterates as usually working in close co-ordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union's Mission for Rule of Law in Kosovo (EULEX) in their respective roles as security responsible.
