This company engagement testifies to the dedication of all citizens to benefit from modern energy infrastructure and a sustainable supply of electricity, regardless of the municipality region.
A parallel to the Iber River flow, starting from the main bridge, along the 3 Soleders, heading towards Suhodol, The KEDS is implementing an important project on mid-cV tension in the Berdjanan Exodus, which will significantly improve the quality and security of the electricity supply to consumers in the area.
This project is of particular importance because it directly affects the daily life of the inhabitants, offering them a more stable and with fewer interruptions.
The length of the new line is about five miles [5.5 km], of which three miles [3.1 km] are underground cable networks and 2,38 km] of air grid. Also, four new cracks are being built, which enhance the safety and efficiency of the network. Moreover, the project includes hundreds of meters of low air and underground tension. These elements are essential for ensuring a more quality and sustainable distribution of energy.
Thanks to this investment, hundreds of consumers in northern Mitrovica will have a more stable power supply. In addition to increasing the quality of service, such investments also contribute to increased safety of the electrical network. This means that the profit is multiple: consumers receive a better service, while the network becomes more efficient and more reliable.
KEDS remains committed to addressing equal priorities of all municipalities and areas of Kosovo, indiscriminately. This is not the only project the company is making in the northern part of the country. There are implemented or other projects under way to improve the lives of the citizens of that area, increasing stability and supply security.
This is just one of many projects the KED is implementing throughout Kosovo, under its strategy for modernising and expanding the electrical network. This strategy aims to provide contemporary infrastructure in each city and village, which serves the economic development and welfare of citizens.
