“We need to increase costs for Moscow, strengthen support for Ukraine and invest in European defence. The EU plays a major role and we will support initiatives such as the Eastern Border Protection Line”, Kallas said on the X network.
She added that she was in contact with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte and Polish Foreign Minister Radec Sikorski.
Polish authorities said earlier this morning that Russian fears had entered Polish airspace and that the Polish Air Force had used weapons to bring them down.
The Polish Army said the entry into the country's airspace during Russia's attack on Ukraine was a <x0 just aggression” that threatened public safety and demanded the collapse of the facilities.
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said Varshava had informed NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte of the actions Poland had taken against Russian fears and that the anti-dime operation was still under way.
