Alliance for the Future of Kosovo MP Time Kadrijaj has reacted after the establishment of the corruption indictment of two members of the Vetevendosje Movement -- Faruk Mujka and Hysen Muzliukaj -- where he has declared that incumbent Prime Minister Albin Kurti along with his party -- are challenging the justice system in Kosovo.
She stressed that in spite of numerous corrupt relatives that have surfaced, Kurt is using double standards in relation to justice.
We see Kurt and his party challenge justice. With all these corrupt relatives we've seen of Kurt's case that testified when it was about the insults they were given, while in the case of state reserves, he didn't go to prove no double but triple standards, for him the law is just like he and his party agrees to him, Kadrij told “Front Online”, Periscopi broadcast.
According to her, Kurti's actions are showing efforts not to respect the laws and Constitutions of the Republic of Kosovo.
This guy wants chaos, tries to create situations so citizens don't respect the law, Kadrijaj said.
She said Mujka and Muzliukaj should resign from their current duties.
“Would like to resign from duty at a given moment until the indictment is confirmed or dropped, says Kadrijay
According to the indictment, in 2504.2021, the defendants, knowing that the Communist Parliament had twice made the decision to declare a specific public interest in real estate, presented the same nation with a proposal for exchange of the same property, posing it as municipal property, causing considerable damage of 125,100,000 euros to the Kosovar Privatisation Agency (AKP).
Meanwhile, defendant Mujka is also accused of criminal acts “of not reporting false wealth, income, gifts, other material benefits or financial obligations”.
Within the indictment, The PSRK proposed: Probing supplementary sentences against the two defendants.
Muzliukaj's mujka were arrested in 2023 following an anti-corruption operation. At that time there were also raids on two locations of the two suspects' property, and 60 thousand euros had been found and seized at one location.
