General Jashari urges Kosovo membership in Adriatic Charter

The commander of the Kosovo Security Force, Union Jashari, has participated in the 28th Conference of the US-Adriatic Initiative A5. This conference has been held in Tirana, where the participants have been the chiefs of defence of neighbouring countries and the General Agents of National Guardes. The KSF report says the conference has been led by the American Command Commander for Europe, the Supreme Commander of Allied Forces for Europe, and co-chaired by Albania and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In the process, it also becomes known that Jashar stressed the need and importance of Kosovo's membership as full-fledged members in this initiative and that the move would bring more peace and security to the Western Balkans.

Kosovo Security Force Commander Lieutenant General Union Jashari participated in the 28th Conference of the US-Adriatic Initiative A5
The 28th consecutive conference has been held in Tirana, where the chiefs of defence of neighbouring countries and the General Agents of the National Guard, who have partnerships with the respective states of the region, were participating. This conference has been led by American Command for Europe Commander (EUCOM), Supreme Allied Forces for Europe Commander (SACEUR) and co-chaired by Albania and Bosnia Herzegovina.
The margins of this conference stressed the importance of boosting regional co-operation in favour of confronting security challenges. Also discussed was the importance of civil-military co-operation, in the context of addressing multidimensional security challenges.
During the address, GLT Jashari again stressed the need and importance of membership of the Republic of Kosovo as full-fledged members in this initiative. This action would bring more peace and security to the Western Balkans.
And in the context of the conference, KOMFSK has carried out bilateral meetings with American Command Commander Europe (EUCOM) and once Supreme Allied Commander for Europe (SACEUR) General Alexus G. Grinkewich, as well as Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Albania, Lieutenant General Arben Kingjin.
At the end of the conference, all participating states agreed that such initiatives serve regional security and address common challenges in the Western Balkans.
