Osmani mentioned the problems with sewers, water cuts, electricity, heating, total toilet blockades, cleaning shortages for months, school security shortages, seizures of dangerous means by some students and so many other things.
And about these issues filed by President Osmani spoke of “Gazeta Blic”, SBASK Chairman Nundman Jasharaj.
The chairman of the United Trade Union of Education, Science and Culture countered Osman, saying the SBASAK is unaware of these problems Osman has cited.
“The U.S.S.R. has no notes from the ground that the situation in our schools is so miserable as the president presents it during her statement trying to reason why her children are in private school and it costs so much”- Jasharaj said.
He points out that it is not a solution for leaderships to send their children to private schools and leave other children under heavy conditions.
“On the other side The SBASK-U thinks that if the situation in school really stays that way, so in public schools, then there is no solution for every leader to take his children and send them to private schools, leaving thousands of students to work in such charged conditions”- he added.
Also, Jasharaj stressed that they have called on institutions to improve conditions, but the current government does not do anything.
“The SBASK at each meeting that has it all over with institutions has sought improved working conditions in schools, but the current government has done nothing to improve working conditions in Kosovo schools”- finished Jasharaj.
