In this case, the head of the United Education, Science and Culture Union (SBASHK), Nundman Jasharaj, has raised serious concerns about the way the school textbooks are distributed and preparations for the start of the new school year.
I tell you the truth, this bad way of distributing tools is disturbing. Unfortunately, MAST has continued to make the same mistake, and this is the third time that happens. We are afraid that this situation will repeat itself and cause delays in procedures.”, he said in a proposal for IndexOnline, broadcast Periscope.
According to him, the subvention process is complex and requires more institutional care. Jasharaj considers that the lack of equality in text supply violates the fair start of the school year.
Jasharaj also expresses disappointment with the current leadership of the Ministry of Education.
May a minister come who really understands these things, and no longer like Mrs. Nagavci. Now the third time that makes the same mistake with subvention of textbooks”, Jasharaj said.
In addition, the first SBASK warns of serious challenges that will affect both teachers and students.
“The teachers will be in a challenging situation since the first day, because they will not have all the texts. If such instruction is started, those who do not have texts will mean students who financially do not stay well and who are not able to buy books. There will be a division between students, which is unacceptable. ”, he stressed.
In the end, it cites the parents' economic difficulties and the failure of the 80-euro subsidy.
“Zj. Nagavci doesn't think he bought his own textbooks, so I don't really know how much it costs. It is clear that 80 euros are not enough, because the prices of textbooks have increased significantly. There are 2-3 texts for each subject, and it is not possible to provide all with just 80 euros. Then there are work notebooks and extra materials that are even heavier in the parents ' budget. They try, but then they do respond because they have facts.”, he added further.
