Aida Dorgi, has commented on developments in the Kosovo Assembly and the chairmanship meeting, which is expected to be held tomorrow, though the fifth deputy leader has not been elected by Serb minorities.
Drcgut said this is another electoral conclusion of the Vetevendosje Movement, being, according to her, disappointed with the outcome of February 9th, all efforts said they go in the direction to lead the country to early elections.
“Initially with the election of the mayor, this crisis appeared to be resolved, but the second step, which seems very strange, that is, about the proper names of the deputy speakers, which is absurd”
“This means that Vetevendosje's actions try to drag it forward by deliberately committing a constitutional violation, which will still require an additional deadline of application for anyone addressing the Constitutional Court and they certainly plan for parliamentary elections to be simultaneous with local elections, if they manage to do so”, Drcgut said in “Info Magazine” in Klan Kosova.
On the other hand, Dorgi said that on the eve of local elections, the VV is performing a favour to the Serbian List, challenging the election of the assembly's deputy chairman from this party.
Therefore, by challenging the Serbian List's choice of deputy chairman is performing a favour for these local elections because we know Rashiqi does not benefit from this support or the government's approach to him because Serbian voters want their representatives and not someone who is instrumentalised by Kurti”, she said.
