Israel has carried out an attack on the high leaders of Hamas in Qatar capital, Doha, writes BBCFollow Periscope.
A Hamas official says his negotiating team was in charge of the attack. Qatar's Foreign Ministry says the attack is a “flagrant violation” of international law, adding that “will not tolerate this reckless Israeli behaviour and continued intervention in the security of the region”.
The IDF says that “carried out an exact attack” and that those targeted “are directly responsible for the brutal massacre of 7 October”.
Hamas's negotiating team is based in Doha; they have not been involved in any indirect negotiations with Israel since July.
