Indictee Hysni Mendjiqi admits guilt for running the canon against Kalazi journalist

At the Pristina Court, today at 12,09.2025, the initial review hearing against accused Hysni Mendjiqi has been held at the General Department for the mayor's row, Vehbi Katazi.

After reading the indictment by State Attorney Edis Kuraya, the accused was declared guilty.

This criminal case is being handled in the Pristina Court General Department with the only judge, Erol Gashi.

The Basic Prosecutor in Pristina, the General Department, dated 01.09.2025, has filed charges against Hysni Mendjiqi for criminal work “Canosja”.

According to the prosecutor's file, the accused Hysni Mendjiqi, dated 12.08.2025, around 21:38, through the social Facebook network, drove journalist Vehbi Kaitazi, publishing the text with the following content: “Cathazi Wehbi or Taraku vahbi or the Commande I am tired with you. There's no way I'm gonna leave you without proving how to die for years. Please. But you're the same as you're in the pussy but your family's going to testify to you now that you don't have any time left for this nation's cry. It's not about the story. It's about how to die.

The indictment says that the injured Vehbi Kaitazi had caused his fear and security for him and his family.

So because of the actions mentioned earlier, Hysni Mendjiqi by the Pristina Prosecutor is accused of committing criminal work “Canosja”.
