Pristina, September 23rd 2025 Kosovo's Special Prosecutor has filed charges against the S.S., I.V., M.V., M.R., N.M. and A.L., for criminal acts “Action in the crowd” that carried out criminal work “Huliganism”, and “keep control, or unauthorized possession of weapons<5>.

There is a good doubt that the defendants, in 13,10,2021, have deliberately participated in crowds gathered from about dozens of people in northern Mitrovica, whose numbers have grown and decreased depending on their movements, and have hit stones, wooden and metal bars, as well as hand grenades, members of the Kosovo Police and Customs, causing general danger.

According to the indictment, they were ambushing police at the site of the event by setting barricades, while police armoured vehicles were hit with bullets from gunfire and hand grenades. As a result, B.A., E.V. and S.A., members of the Kosovo Police, have suffered bodily injuries.

On the same day, defendants I.V., M.V. and M.R., in the neighborhood “Bedjane”, have attacked police and customs officials with gas canisters, and with firearms in their direction and official vehicles.

The crowds are heading towards a drug store, where M.M., J.M., A.R., B.S. and A. M, and has been caused damage worth over 20,000 euros.
