The deputy chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Lutfi Haziri, has reacted to recent debates over reports between the country's institutions, stressing that the Parliament is the highest constitutional body and that no one can interfere with its sovereignty.
“The Assembly elects presidents, judges of the Constitutional Court and Government. Others have to be subordination of the Republic Assembly, and not the opposite”, Haziri wrote.
He has described the attack addressed to the Constitutional Court before the president as unprecedented, adding that it has paved the way for further attacks on judges who, according to him, are authorities elected with the mandate of the same procedure by the Parliament.
