At a news conference, Haxhiu said that a quick and extraordinary meeting of the General Council is needed for the mandate to be voted, and then Arberie Nagavci submits the name of incumbent Prime Minister Albin Kurti to President Vjosa Osmani, broadcasts Clankosova.tv, broadcasts Periscope.
“Can't have the Parliament held hostage to the Serbian List, or any political subject that refuses to take responsibility. It is truly sad that out of 52 opposition deputies, not even 4-5 votes to support Nenad Rashiqi. Rassic is a very moderate representative who engages in the integration of Serbs into Kosovo institutions”, she said.
“We will not allow minorities to block the functioning of institutions. We expect the next steps towards establishing other institutions, including, of course, the government. Kosovo needs functional institutions, decent representation, shopping time has ended”.
We need the general Council's meeting to vote on the mandate, and then Arberie Nagavci will submit the name of Prime Minister Kurti to President Osmani and then we expect the president to act on behalf of democratic functioning. I am convinced that they will hold the extraordinary and quick meeting because of the circumstances that we are”, Haxhi said.
