Haradinaj speaks after Rubin said he had contact with the CIA: I did it to serve the country every time

AAK leader Ramush Haradinaj has been declared following the testimony of former senior US official James Rubin, who at the Special Court said Haradinaj had contacts with the CIA during the war in Kosovo.

Haradinaj called Rubin's testimony an act of respect for rescuers and for Kosovo,

James Rubin, who was US assistant secretary of state during wartime in Kosovo, is witnessing in the case of former President Hashim Thaci and others at the Special Court in The Hague.

He mentioned US intelligence officials were in contact with the KLA, especially with former KLA commander for the Dukagjin region, Ramush Haradinaj.

I believe they were told not to engage in terrorist activities, commit war crimes, and, of course, not promote Islamic fundamentalism. This was our main policy at the time”, Ruby said.

The former senior US official said he had learned that the CIA and Haradinaj have been in touch for years.
