The United States will forever be Kosovo's most important ally. This partnership is our country's greatest asset. With the U.S., we have made the resistance peaceful. We have fought and achieved freedom, independence, and statehood. The suspension of strategic dialogue with Kosovo, as a result of government actions, marks the darkest period in Kosovo's new history. That's very bad news for us, but I'm convinced it wasn't even an easy decision for the American government.
