Radical rightist demonstrators in the Netherlands clashed with police and attacked the office of a liberal left party. Participants in protest threw stuff at the police and set fire to police vehicles. According to its data, police used tear gas and water pumps to disperse violent demonstrators. Thirty people were arrested. There are wounded men in the ranks. Authorities do not rule out the possibility of arrest of other people as well, because video footage is already being watched.
Stronger asylum policy required
A smaller group of demonstrators marched towards the parliament building complex, which is already closed as it is being renovated. In the manifestation, where violence erupted, hundreds of largely black - dressed demonstrators sought a harsher asylum policy. The protest came out of control when about 1,500 demonstrators prevented the circulation by marching through the A12 highway crossing The Hague. The highway was blocked by police. According to NOS media data, some of the demonstrators waved the orange and blue-like flag, the so-called prince's flag, once used by the Dutch National-Socialist movement (NSB) and is now used as a symbol by right-wing extremists. The government that exercises duty as well as many parties condemned the violence at the ports: “The right of demonstration is a precious value, but do not affect our police! ”, said Justice Minister Foort van Oosten of the conservative-liberal party, the Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD).
Serbia's coalition government splits in dispute over stricter asylum laws
Even the right-wing populist politician Geert Wilders condemned the attacks on police officers and demanded that those who committed violence be punished “fort”. According to ANP Wilders, it has stressed that “blocking highways and exercising violence against police is absolutely unacceptable. Idiots. “
Wilders and his Party for Freedom (PVV) have long called for the Netherlands to have one of the toughest laws of all time for asylum.
PVV took part in the government last year to carry out that purpose. But in June, the government coalition failed to quarrel over the rigors of asylum laws. New elections in the Netherlands are scheduled for late October. / DW/ Periscopi/
