Guns seized in Prizren, wanted suspects

Kosovo police have announced that on 9 September, police in Prizren have accepted information about gun shooting on the “path of King Pleat”.

Two suspects have been identified regarding the case.

Weapons and a quantity of ammunition seized in Prizren

Prizren, September 18, 2025

By the date of 09.09.2025, about 3:05, the Prizren Police Station has been informed of a case of gunfire, which allegedly occurred around 02:45 on the “street. King Pleat” Prizren. Immediately after receiving the information, the investigative units have taken operational action on the ground, providing evidence that led to the identification of two suspected persons.

On the 1709.2025, around 14:45, police have taken action to locate suspects on the “Enver Hadri” road. Prizren, where a suspected car linked to the case was found and seized. Suspect didn't run into the house. After receiving verbal order from the prosecutor in the case, in the presence of the suspect's father and attorney appointed according to official duty, control has been conducted at two locations in Prizren.

During the search, they've been seized:

• A (1) AK-47 automatic rifle

• A (1) semi-automatic twin rifle

• A (1) hunting rifle

• 161 bullets of different calibres

All the evidence has been photographed and recorded by the crime-technical unit.

Both suspects are at large and charged with these crimes: “Cause of general risk”, “Use of weapons or dangerous tool”, “Keeping in possession, checking or unauthorized possession of weapons”.
