Greening and public spaces in Pristina, Ismaili Bridge presents new parks no longer than 300m per neighbourhood

He said that for a long time in Pristina it has been built without plan and control, excluding citizens from public spaces and greenery. “Thousands of residents have increased, while green spaces have contracted year after year. Our families are excluded from the streets, squares, and spaces. Their lives have returned within four walls of their homes. This is not justice,” he said.
Ismaili vowed that after 12 October he will set a new standard for the capital: Each neighborhood in Pristina has the park, playground or green space at the distance of 300m from home.
This is the standard that will return equality between building and living citizens. Pristina needs new breaths, and this starts from the common green and communitarian spaces of trees planted on every street, from a park in every neighborhood, and from a playground just a few steps from the door of each house. We will no longer have Pristina concrete, but people's Pristina,” said Ismaili.
In Ismaili's plan, new parks and green spaces are present in every part of the capital, including:
New parks in Dardan, Ulpiana and Sun Coast on underground parking lots to be built during his mandate:
Two new parks on the Trima Hill;
) Pristina South Park in Calabria, 12 acres wide;
New green space in Whitehus and Hyvali.
The candidate for Assembly, Life Calaveshi, who shared her personal experience as a mother, has also spoken at this conference.
There are no green spaces where my children can play in the neighborhood where I live. We often end up in shopping malls because we find space there. That's not fair. Our children should not depend on a car ride to have a place to play,” she said.
