The appearance of Prime Minister Kurti to the Court in the case of his running against him is no double standard in proportion to the invitation by the Special Prosecutor.
As for the Special Prosecutor's invitation, Prime Minister Kurti has never refused to give his testimony. Rather, he has expressed his full willingness to co-operate with justice and to respect the principle of transparency and accountability, demanding that the interview be conducted in his office, a practice that has happened before.
Meanwhile, regarding the rowing case, investigative officials authorised by the prosecution have interviewed Prime Minister Kurti right at his office on June 10th 2025. Today he appeared in court as a damaged party.
