Gervala's Peci accuses Constitutional, Ex-Opositum of blocking institutions

Co-chairwoman Donika Grovalla said the “size of the institutional blockade has ended” and stressed the need for government formation.

It criticised the Constitutional Court's provisional move and the opposition's stance, which according to it, refuses to accept the outcome of the February 9th elections.

We consider that this long-standing opposition to the blocking of institutions and the formation of the Assembly is over, we should continue with the formation of the government. Not by chance, three years ago, on September 7th, we have gathered here in the founder's place of the Guxo party, never forgetting the long road Albanians have made to independence. We have gathered to present our more than 200 candidates for municipal assemblies, holders of various municipal lists and mayors. The Guxo party is a European, modern and courageous party. The Guxo Party is young but professionally experienced and bold, which stands out on the political scene. We have faced an extraordinary institutional blockade, where the seal has been given by the Constitutional Court with temporary measures at the request of the Serbian List. We have faced an opposition that is unwilling to accept the outcome of the February 9th 2025 elections. So we invite the Constitutional Court and other opposition parties to give up unnecessary blockades and form institutions. ”

“Gux” co-chairman Faton Peci praised the key role this party played in the political change of 2021, viewing it as a determining moment for the country's future.
