He has stressed the need for parliament to form a stable government, warning that any delay could negatively affect investors' interest and the welfare of citizens.
Bötcher has stressed that it is the responsibility of political parties and MPs to meet citizens' expectations and to constitute the assembly in accordance with the Constitution.
I want to say something critical about politics here. So it is the responsibility of political parties and MPs to meet citizens' expectations. It is the responsibility of members of parliament to constitute the Parliament in accordance with the constitution and to form and elect a government to govern the country. And if the Parliament finds that the best way forward is early elections, then let it be”, he said, EO reports.
He has warned that any delay in forming government and advancing energy transition risks investors' interest and brings direct economic losses.
“Every lateday in forming government and advancing energy transition, Kosovo risks losing investor interest. And that means real money loss, jobs and future prosperity”, Bötcher added.
He made these statements during Kosovo's two-day organisation Energy Forum and Green Business Expo 2025, which aims to provide a platform for discussions on energy transition, energy market liberalisation and the challenges to attracting investments in the clean energy sector and sustainable businesses.
