NATO announcement reportedly focused mainly on use of the W system. INGMAN, for identifying fears and tracking their operators, as well as using HP-47 equipment, for intercepting and disactivating nonpilot aircraft (UAV).
According to the communiqué, these exercises enhance soldiers' individual technical skills, highlighting the importance of co-ordination, team work and adaptability in dealing with new air threats.
