NATO announcement reportedly focused mainly on use of the W system. INGMAN, for identifying fears and tracking their operators, as well as using HP-47 equipment, for intercepting and disactivating nonpilot aircraft (UAV).
According to the communiqué, these exercises enhance soldiers' individual technical skills, highlighting the importance of co-ordination, team work and adaptability in dealing with new air threats.
This unique expertise expands the scope of KFOR's mission, strengthening its capacity to face ever greater security challenges”, the report said. /Periscope/
