However, behind this news has been the response of Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Fiknet Bata.
It was through a post on the social network Facebook that said it was an attack on this party's asmblist, Sami Salihu, accusing Fehmi Kupina's family of attacking.
After the completion of the Capital Assembly session, prior to the Pristina municipality's facility, there was an unacceptable and serious act: our assemblyist was physically attacked, Mr. Sami Salihu. This attack, carried out by the boy and persons close to the Speaker of the Parliament, Mr. Fehmi Kupina, is not only an unprecedented violence against a citizen representative but also a severe blow to democracy, institutions and dignity of the capital's”, it has written.
Bayta has said the LDK condemns the act, while demanding swift measures from justice bodies.
We the LDK Assembly Group strongly condemn this ugly act, intended to intimidate and subdue the free political voice. We thank the Kosovo Police for their immediate response and earnestly seek by law and order bodies to take immediate measures. Our group stands by Mr. Sami Salihu, with the strong conviction that violence would never stop our mission to protect civic interest, democracy and legal order in Pristina and Kosovo”, she wrote. /Periscopi
