FBI Director Kash Patel said on Monday that DNA in a towel wrapped around the weapon allegedly used to kill conservative activist Charlie Kirk has matched with the suspect in the murder, which is currently in custody.
Tyler Robinson, 22, has been arrested for the death of right-wing influencer during an event at a university in Utah on Wednesday.
A rifle was found near the shooting site, and a screwdriver was found on the roof from which he was shot.
I can report today that the DNA traces from the towel that was wrapped around the firearm and the DNA in the screwdriver were matched to the suspect in custody”, Patel told Fox and Friends./Periscopi/
