Meanwhile, this Thursday, the Special Court against Corruption and Organised Crime has cast lots on the criminal case against Veliaj and 29 other defendants. Etleva Deda has been appointed as a prior judge.
The Special Prosecutor (SPAK) has filed a considerable number of charges against Tirana mayor, 13 counts, including passive corruption, money laundering and abuse of office.
Also, his wife, Ayla Xoxa, faces 11 criminal charges in the same file.
