US envoy to UN: America will protect every centimeter of NATO territory

Mike Waltz, the new US envoy to the United Nations, gave his opinion on the recent charges of violating Russian airspace. He told the UN Security Council that the US had warned Russia to prevent actions that could jeopardise it from escalating into a more [...] conflict.
He told the UN Security Council that the United States had warned Russia of “preventing actions that could endanger it from escalating into a broader conflict” after its fears violated Polish airspace nine days ago.
Despite this warning, he said, Russia “again violated the airspace of a NATO member”, writes Skynews.
I want to use this first opportunity to repeat and stress that the United States and our allies will protect every inch of NATO territory. Russia must urgently stop such dangerous behaviour”, he follows.
He adds: I once again appeal to Russia, as a permanent member of this council, to support international peace and security, to respect the sovereignty of its neighbours, to stop violating their airspace. And I urge Russia to negotiate directly with Ukraine to end that” war. /Periscope/
