Protest organiser Erza Zeqiri stressed that the presence of citizens is evidence against injustice.

Even his family member, Donjeta Spahiu, demanded that the state of Kosovo act without delay and not remain silent in the face of this injustice.
“We call on our state institutions not to hold back, delay and neglect the case. The silence of the State is not simply a failure, it is a double injustice. It is the State's duty to protect every citizen of his country no matter where he is. Today, more than ever, we must show that we are a state protecting its citizens”, she said.

Former Kosovo Police Special Unit member Arbnor Spahiu was detained on June 7th at the border checkpoint from Hungary to Serbia. Justice authorities in Serbia accuse him of allegedly committing criminal work “severe murder”.
