U.S. Embassy: Always friends of the people of Kosovo, in Government we need a partner who avoids destabilizing actions

In a response to the Tv1 Embassy, Americans have cited the need for “a partner who understands the need to avoid destabilising actions” and that “is committed to advancing regional stability”, broadcast Periscope.

The embassy has said that Job Loaded Annu Prattipati, “has regular meetings with incumbent Prime Minister Kurti”.

The UN will always be a close friend of the people of Kosovo and we are fully committed to our partnership. We want to move forward with the government in office, but we need a partner who understands the need to avoid destabilising actions and is committed to advancing regional stability and protecting the rights of all Kosovo citizens. We will continue to assess the government's actions on duty”, the US Embassy says.

The United States has indefinitely suspended the planned strategic dialogue with Kosovo due to concerns over the government's actions in office, the US Embassy in Pristina announced on Friday.

“Unfortunately, the recent actions and statements of incumbent Prime Minister Kurti have presented challenges for the progress achieved over the years”, the Embassy said, among other things.
