Election campaign, PZAP pronounces about 400,000 euros fines for political subjects

According to decisions published on the official website of this institution, from the first day of the campaign to last Friday, when the last decision was made, the total value of the fines declared has reached around 40 thousand euros.
These fines, according to PZAP, have been imposed due to various violations of election regulations and the Code of Goodwill for Campaign, broadcast Klanoskova.tv.
Among the political subjects who have been fined during the campaign are the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), NDS and the Citizen Initiative for Skenderaj.
The highest fine has been pronounced for the Citizen Initiative for Skenderaj, in the amount of 10,000 euros, on two separate occasions.
According to PZAP, this fine is the result of violating the Code of Goodness for Political Subjects, their supporters and candidates, a document meant to regulate the conduct of participants in the election process to preserve a democratic and peaceful electoral environment.
