British diplomat John Duncan said in The Hague that the Demilitarisation Agreement was a process in which General Agim Ceku was responsible for delivering and monitoring.
This statement, the witness did it by answering Hashim Thaci's lawyer, Nina Tavakoli, reports “The Justice Vow“.
Prior to that, the witness was also asked for a visit on 13 August 1999, along with NATO's Supreme Compand, Wesley Clark, in Kosovo, in which they had met Hashim Thaci.
Duncan said that with Thaci they have discussed the security situation that existed on the ground, as well as the possibility of co-operation between political forces and others. He said it was a short conversation.
Duncan stressed there was disappointment over the KLA deilitarisation process.
The problem was that you seemed to have caused a lot of disappointment and it seemed Thaci was losing support from some commanders in the” area, he said.
He said he has asked General Clark to avoid public confrontation with Thaci over the issue. According to him, there was no general at this meeting, Agim Ceku.
The witness was asked whether he was aware of criminal groups coming from the border with Albania in the summer of 1999. He said he saw some reports about it./Periscopi/
