Drug trafficking in Italy, Switzerland, group head arrested at Fier

According to A2 CNN, under operation “Fingerprint”, citizen Edi Hoxha (alis Edison Hoxha) has been stocked. Investigations leading to the 41-year-old co-ordinated group's crackdown began several months ago and spread to both states.
According to police, this criminal organisation is accused of trafficking narcotics in Albania, Italy and Switzerland during 2020-2021. The Firenze court issued 12 arrest orders, 10 of which were executed (9 in Italy and 1 in Albania), while 2 citizens were declared at large.
“During this phase of operation “Fingerprint”, the services of the Directorate for Narcotics Investigation at the Department of Criminal Police, in co-operation with the local Fier Police Directorate services, located at Fier, seized and arrested the extradition to Italy, the Albanian citizen, declared in international research, E. H. allis E. H., 41, born in the village of Portez, Fier. The Florence Court, with the decision of 2025, has assigned the security measure to “Arrest to prison for trafficking narcotics, conducted under the criminal organisation, which is sentenced by Italy's Penal Code, to maximum 24 years in prison. Citizens E. H. alias E. H. It is charged that during 2020-2021, it has co-ordinated the criminal activity of an organisation involved in the trafficking of Cocaine and Cannabis Siveta, in Albania, Italy and Switzerland”, police inform police.
At that, it is suggested that Interpol Tirana and their counterparts in Rome are co-operating to finalise the 41-year extradition procedure in Italy. /Periscope
