The American president accused him of “spreading false and slanderous content” around him.
This comes after the New York Times said last week that it was threatened with legal action by the White House, after articles on an inappropriate birthday note given to the late violator of sexual law Jeffrey Epstein. The sign bears Trump's signature, but the president has denied to be his author.
In July he initiated legal action against another major American newspaper, the Wall Street Journal, and its owner, Rupert Murdoch, after reporting for the first time the existence of the note, which contained a shameful picture. It's been published ever since, but Trump continues to deny being his author.
