This Wednesday has begun the voting process outside Kosovo for citizens who are registered to vote via mail in local elections 2025, for mayors and municipal municipalities.
To make sure that the ballots arrive in time to voters living outside Kosovo, The CEC has contracted an economic operator to perform postal services.
And postal services for voting abroad have not cost the state wallet a little more.
The total value of the contract is 268,900.00 euros, and the tender is entrusted to the economic operator “3P St. P. K”
The CEC has clarified that, although similar services are offered by the Kosovo Post, it cannot guarantee the arrival of time shipments to continents outside Europe (due to approximately two weeks long) and does not offer the package withdrawal service to the respective states. For this reason, contracting an operator with a deal with international fast-mail companies has been seen.
