More criticised the government: Don't expect gifts from Washington, prove you a democratic country

Washington cannot resolve Kosovo's internal issues, former US diplomat Jonathan Moore has declared today. Kosovo's “message is overloaded, government cannot be formed, can't be done together, coalitions don't do anything, and you do all of these things to us, Washington doesn't work this way. [...]
Kosovo's “message is overloaded, government cannot be formed, can't be done together, coalitions don't do anything, and you do all of these things to us, Washington doesn't work this way. When other countries present any cases, and by the way they do not have an agreement on this issue, this is not expected between Washington-Pristina, Washington-Belgrade, or any such combination”, Moore said.
According to Moore, gifts from Washington should not be expected because you are Kosovo, but stresses that local politics should prove that it is a democratic country.
Kosovo has the opportunity, has democraticly elected political leaders to come together to form a government, find a way out if they don't do it now after local elections, but don't expect Washington to just give you a gift because you are Kosovars, or Kosovo or for any other reason. Prove yourself a democratic, sovereign country, make compromises, make coalitions and make positive decisions, which are good for Kosovo citizens. Here is the question of what has long been suspended, opportunities have been lost, demands denied. It is a natural conclusion that strategic dialogue is suspended”, Moore said in Rubikon.
To get the report back to the United States, Moore has advised that some important steps be taken by the Government of Kosovo. He says some compromises are necessary to take, including serious commitment to dialogue with Serbia.
