Ragip Gila, the main suspect in the two-killed massacre and two wounded in Shkodra, allegedly acted on behalf of a criminal group, aimed at eliminating Erogen Vaso Brajovic. After preliminary investigations, the investigative group has concluded that Gila acted, not for personal motives, as he claimed after the arrest, but in the service of this criminal group.
Police have pressed grave charges against Gila, including murder in other qualitative circumstances, armed theft, destruction of property and non-missive possession of weapons. During the arrest, authorities seized an automatic, a bullet pistol, a boat, a mask, an bulletproof vest, and a bottle of fuel suspected of being used for the destruction of evidence. After the event, police discovered two weapons bases and declared Gila's two associates, Barush Alyas Bajram Brecon, and a 17-year-old man in search. Seven firearms, militant ammunition and detonator captillas were found in their apartment.
Charges have been brought against them of creating conditions for murder, maintenance and production without permission of weapons, explosives and ammunition, as well as for theft. After Gila's arrest on the Kir Riverbed, police exercised searches at the Lici residences of Bayra's opponent, and contingents suspected of links.
In one of the residences, an automatic weapon, six pistols, ammunition, 45 detonator caps, a type car “Audi” with stolen license plates, 5 fears, additional fatigue equipment, a laptop and 5 cameras. The residence is owned by a man who lives abroad and rented it.
Police are following up on other bases in Shkodra, while sequentised weapons have been sent to the criminal laboratory to determine whether they were used in criminal events.
The event took place Monday morning, when Ragip Gila entered a bar in Shkodra and shot down the table where Erogen Vaso Brajovic and two other people were located.
