He has declared that commanders on the ground had no respect for Hashim Thaci.
Covey said General Ceku was the most influential individual in the Kosovo Liberation Army.
“There was no central command, Commander Ceku was the most influential individual in the KLA, he needed to know there was an agreement between them, we saw General Ceku very calm, seeing that the commanders supported him. We realised that the KLA was more of a movement than an army, they had power in their areas. ”
