Following the suspension of the Parliament's work, political analysts expect that the Constitutional Court, in addition to clarifying the judicial-co-unconstitutional aspect of the blockade, will also provide a direction and political dimension between parliamentary parties.
A week after the new chief speaker considered the Kosovo Parliament to be established, the Constitutional Court made the decision that the job of the latter be suspended until September 30th.
For political analysts, such a decision on the Constitutional side shows that the only constitutional framework is not.
As a result, political parties remain pending the final Constitutional decision on the Serbian List's request over the failure to elect the Serbian Deputy Speaker of the Parliament.
It would be absurd to take any further action in this situation. Once it becomes known, parliamentary political subjects will have nothing but to implement the final decision of the Constitutional Court”, analyst Africa Casolli has said.
According to Casol, such a situation would bring the need for political agreements in the future or, otherwise, the country would go towards deepening the political crisis.
“All of the political subjects in large measure are having this impact on the formation of institutions, all are waiting in the creation of some more favourable circumstances, each for itself and it is clear that before local elections, there will be no national elections, and local elections will crystallize the situation more, whether we will have new coalition government or extraordinary <x1 choices, Kasoli has added, Revvdukani reports, broadcast Periscope.
Other analyst Belgzim Kamberi says this situation is being used by the winning party to present itself as interested in forming new institutions, and at the same time, he says, is trying to blame former opposition parties.
The situation will be clarified almost exclusively by the constitutional judicial version that it is the Constitutional Court, which remains the only one that can clarify not only the constitutional standards on how the process can flow, but also to give a political dimension to this political battle that is taking place between LVV and former opposition parties”, Kamberi has said.
Except for the suspension of the Parliament's work by the end of the month, the Constitution has banned any procedure for forming the new government.
Criticising the Constitutional for this decision has addressed the Vetevendosje Movement, accusing the Court of taking sides with the Serbian List, praising the decision in opposition to the functioning of the Assembly. As for the situation, the LDK has accused Vetevendosje of aiming to benefit electorates. /Periscope
