Kosovo Democratic Party Secretary General Vlora Citaku has held a news conference today, where she has talked about the course of the election campaign and the great civic support she is receiving PDK across the country.
In her address, Citaku stressed that on the 8th day of campaigning, candidates for mayors and teams for municipal municipalities have held over 1,000 meetings in every village, neighbourhood and town of Kosovo, where the PDK's political offer has been met with joy, enthusiasm and confidence from citizens.
Because this is the best political offer in the country, already proven as the most successful model of local government. Our vision is clear: better a functioning municipality, a municipality that serves, a municipality that is accounting for citizens. This is our” difference, she said.
The PDK secretary voiced confidence that the party will win not only in municipalities where it currently governs but in many others, testifying to its candidates' superiority compared with counter-Candidates.
“PDK as a party, but for our citizens. To build together municipalities that are not owned by individuals, but a common home for each citizen”, Citaku said.
She thanked citizens for the high democratic culture they are showing during the campaign, for mass participation in meetings, and for their contribution with ideas and criticism, stressing that these do. PDK is even stronger.
A special gratitude, Citaku dedicated to PDK activists women and men, young and old alike who are keeping the spirit of the campaign alive.
“This is the true face of the Democratic Party of Kosovo: political culture, respect for the citizen and firm belief that only through work and unity can we build a better future for our municipalities and for Kosovo. The PDK will win. Our citizens will win. And Kosovo will win! ”, Vlora Citaku concluded./Periscopi/
