After the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council's announcement of a new member, the European Union's Office in Kosovo calls for a fair process, which attracts strong candidates and ensures the election of a member, integrity and professionalism of Kosovo will strengthen Kosovo's prosecutorial system for the benefit of the @x1>, Klaankosova reportedly broadcasts.tv.

In view of the importance of the Council's ongoing reform, as defined in recent amendments to the Law for the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, the EU Office says it will closely follow the selection process.

It also stresses that transparent and merit-based procedures are essential for Kosovo's continued progress on its path towards integration into the European Union.
