China, top Kosovo partner for imports during August

Exports dropped by 8.7%, reaching 76.2m euros, while imports rose 5.3%, reaching 613.1m euros, the AKS said in a monthly report.
The main exports in August were basic metals, with a turnout of 18%, as well as minerals, processed foods, drinks and tobacco each, with 13.8%.
China was Kosovo's main partner for imports in August, representing 14.5% of total imports. Albania was the main destination for exports, with a turnout of 22.4%, according to SeeNews.
During 2024, Kosovo's trade deficit increased by 7.4%, reaching 5.4 billion euros.. /Periscopi/
